Jump.cgi
I have just recently changed web hosts and all scripts work fine except for jump.cgi the error I receive when I click on a link is The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings.

I run two separate directories and both of them do not work. I am on yourns.com servers which is apache unix. I did not change anything in the jump.cgi and I have tried to change the path to link.cfg and get different error from the srcipt it self.
can anyone help me?

I also wrote to the webserver itself and I have not received any answer yet.

Looks as if your paths in links.cfg aren't properly configured. Recheck if they match with your new server's paths.

If the paths were not right, why would all the other parts of links2 work. The counter on the jump.cgi works it just will not go to the link for some reason. I set the permissons as 777 and that sill does not work. I have checked the paths again in links.cfg and they are all the right paths. Please help me! Right now I have my links bypassing the jump.cgi but I would like to know how many hits each link gets.

No my database does not have id link 11 but if you use the following link then you will see the error.http://metasearchat.com/cgi-bin/links/jump.cgi?ID=211
I don't understand why the jump.cgi works except by not going to the url itself. It's the exact same thing on my other directory. If any one can give me some insight on why it would be gratly appreciated.

The only thing I can think of at the moment is that your url.db file is corrupted. Delete it, upload a new file and set its permissions to 666. Then rebuild and see what happens.

I don't understand how could it be corrupted if I am running 2 different directories on the same server and both are doing the exact same thing. Could it be the server that might be causing it?

Could be your server. I experienced this once when installing Links on a IIS5. Which server are you on?

I am on yourns.com servers. they have apache server that added UNIX server for my site. Funny thing is that everything else works except the jump.cgi and my mail program. Let me ask you on smpt when I set it to mail.isp.net and when I delete the links and when it is suppose to send out a email my program says it has a cgi error but it does not give me a reason why. any ideas on that problem?

Thanks
