I was wondering whether anyone had tried the updating technique described here : http://www.gossamer-threads.com/...i?post=267757#267757 and also whether this is still necessary in the new version ?

Sure it working like a charm, i'm using this method in few community plugins :)

Works fine with new version (1.1.0) and new version is not necessary :)

Hi eupos that's good to know that I can update and get it working.

I didn't really understand what you meant by it is not necessary, is this function integrated into the new version.

I was ready to update because I run under mod_perl and this new version deals with a very minor issue I had under mod_perl.

Sorry, I understand now.

I actually already have it working in the previous version and was curious to know if someone had upgraded and got it working in version 1.1.0

Anyway I'll give it a try myself and see if it works in the new version then ;)

You can proceed with upgrade, we are using this functions agresively in two plugins to update may fields and it forks fine :)
