Problems with Fileman
I have to commend GT staff for a well-written script (both on the installation and use), however, I have the following problems with the script:

1) The "fileman.cgi" references in the template files (login, main, etc.) should either be a global tag. This should not be hard-coded.

2) The ConfigData.pm file along with the created dat files that are placed in the directory where the "fileman.cgi" is located, should actually go into the private/admin lib folder, IMO. Since the password and username are saved in plain text in the ConfigData.pm module, it should be hidden and inaccessible.

3) While I appreciate the attempt at writing the templates to be cross-browser compatible, I am always a fan of using simple HTML codes that are interoperatable than javascript.

4) While I have not seen the multi-user version, I sure hope that it is database driven (via MySQL or MS SQL) and not flat file based.

Buh Bye!

Cheers,
Me
