links.db after building

links.db after building
Hello everyone,

After each build I do for the index, it seems that the links.db seems to re-create itself and chmod itself 644. anyone else have this problem or is it something i dont know about?

I'm having the same problem, plus after build it chown's links.db to "nobody".....

anyone please help.

Unless cgi on your server uses cgiwrap, owner "nobody" is probably correct. That is who the script runs as and it gives itself read/write permissions to the file (the 6 on 644). That should not matter and you really do not need to change it back to your userid and new permissions.
