New Categories not showing on index.htnl

New Categories not showing on index.htnl
Everything seems to be working except that now I've add a new category,we I do a build and return to the home page. the new category isn't displayed yet the category directory has been created and the links present on the category page.

Any ideas?

How have you added the new Category? What is the syntax you used in the Name field?

Try Staggered Build.

The category syntax was: Model/Supplies

I just tried the staggered build and this made no difference.

And do you have a main category called Model??? What you have added is a subcategory, which only displays in the appropriate category page, NOT on the main home page, unless you have installed the Subcategories like Yahoo v.2.1 Modification.

That makes a lot of sense.
I hadn't put anything in the main category and I was testing how the subgategories work.

BTW: It is best to add all your main categories FIRST, then add your subcategories.
