I have been able to tweak every color or font size on my main (home) Links page, i have been fumbling around trying to find where to change the default color (black) of the Category descriptions. Running Links 2.0. If you tell me its in the links.css i'll kill myself..... been in that file a week now I am using Templates also, if that helps any...

If I recall correctly, I believe the Cat description in the style sheet is called span.description.

Have you also looked at the last sub in the site_html_template.pl file? This is where the category html is generated.

I do believe that the text color is in the .css file. Look in the .css file for 000000 or black.

Brad is right. If you go to the sub site_html_print_cat in the site_html_templates.pl file, you will see an $output statement with $description. You can either edit the span.description class in the .css file or take out the span/class codes and enter your own HTML codes for the $description variable.

Thanks Eliot and Brad, yes the default color
for the Category descriptions is in the css file with #333333... (i missed it) Im tryin to get away from the css. Going to 'sub site_html_print_cat' is where i changed a few lines of code and all is fine.
