It might be using the site of the day mod for the "Featured Articles" section on the front page.

I looked at the site and it does not really appear that they have a lot of mods applied. About the only one that I could see is one of the mods to expire links. The rest looks like pretty generic Links v2.0.

They have done a lot of work with modifying the templates (assuming they are using templates) but I don't really consider that a mod

Here are some other modifications:

1) Category List Mod (located in this Forum) for the drop-down menu.

2) WebAdverts Code Hack (located in the FAQ section in the Resource Center)

Other than that...basically editing the template files.
