Update the ID# after deleting records
Hello JDP, hello everybody, Smile

Would that be possible to update all ID# every time after deleting the records? so that we can make the ID# more consistent. For instance, if I have three records with IDs 1,2 & 3 and I wanna delete the (second) record with ID# 2. Could we arrange the records or IDs so that it'd display the records with ID 1 and 2 instead of 1 and 3? Thanks a lot!! Wink

There's a discussion on this topic going on in "DBMan Discussion":

However it's come to somewhat of a standstill... still, it might give you some ideas, or at least prompt some new interest.

That discussion applies only to the autodelete script, which is separate from DBMan.

You should not renumber your records. This is not a good thing to do.
