Feature or bug in links list?

Feature or bug in links list?
Hi there

I'm using the default template (although I've made a number of modifications) and I'm experiencing a weird formatting problem.

I've left aligned the links (rather than the centered format of the default template) but one or two of the links appear indented. Is this some kind of feature or a bug?

Just wanted to know if anyone has any ideas how to stop it before I spend time trying to work out what is going on.

Cheers

Smokey

Hi,

Does it do it with the original templates?

Take a look at the html output. Are there extra table tags ie: TD's ?

Run your output page through a HTML checker, and see if it can find any broken HTML,then look at your template.

It's possible, especially if you are using LOOP, that you have some mismatched tags.
Especially around or in the link.html or include line.

Different browsers handle that issue differently :)

That's the other thing -- if it looks different in netscape and MSIE, then it's probably a format problem (broken HTML).

Just a bug hunt suggestion :)

Hi,

Remove:

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40/strict.dtd">

From the templates, they shouldn't be there (they were in the system one's I know, they will be gone from 2.1.0).

Cheers,
