I have set 'signup_notify_admin' to yes, but somehow, I only get an email for every third or fourth user who signs up. There's no apparent pattern, only that for most users that sign up, I don't get an email.

I have checked my junk mail folder, and those mails are not there either.

Check the error log for your web server.. you'll see a HASH(00CFFF) something error... I had that problem too , tried to trouble shootit but never found the cause.

Not sure what would cause random mailings, but I'll look into this.
