Per the announcement - Community Beta 3 has the:-

* Ability to mass enable/disable users in any application.

I can't see any options to be able to do this - as all users who are imported are still not enabled by default.

It's tucked away in Applications->Modify Application->Enable/Disable Users.

Found that - thanks. I note that the username length is limited to 15 characters. Is there any way to change this (at least initially)? I have over 5,000 users and only about 80 of them meet the 15 character limit!

Yes a username lenght of 30 characters up would be good!

Else you'll have a lot of problems with GMail-Usernames (if the domainname is already 15 or more characters!)

Thanks for your reply. I selected all users (as indicated above) for GForum. Out of 5000 it enabled 80 of them.

I then went into the user's that were 'not enabled' and tried to enable one for GForum. That's when I got the error message at the top of the page in red - 15 characters. Message was as follows:-Unable to insert user abcdefgxxxxxxxxxxx because: Invalid username 'abcdefgxxxxxxxxxxx': Username too long. The maximum length of a username is 15 characters

I have since tried the same thing with LinksSQL and that works - this makes me suspect that the issue may lie with GForum (although the username field in Gforum appears to be 50 characters).

In GForum, set username_max_length to whatever you like (obviously more than 15)...
