File size and space avalable
Where do I increase the file size and space available in Fileman version 3.0?

Are you using Fileman single user version? If so, you need to change 'allowed_space' option within fileman.conf manually.

Using single version. Will this change the max file size as well as max space?

Do you mean the max file size for file uploading? If so, there is no limit for file uploading.

The problem I am having is that I can upload small files without a problem but large files never seem to finish. I have someone who needs to upload a 16 gig video file.

just tried to upload a 650 meg file and it didn't finish and I lost the progress screen.

Any suggestions as to why fileman 3 can't upload large files? Plenty of room on the server.

Don't use FileMan much, but could just be due to the sheer size of the file. I would imagine maybe 100mb or so would be the limit (could be wrong though)

Your webserver is probably killing the process for taking up too much memory, or it could be timing out.

For large files like this, FTP is much more suited for the task.
