Hi folks,

I moved to a new host and everything works fine, but validation of links.
Everytime I want to call the validate - link from Admin-Panel, I receive an Error:

CGI ERROR
==========================================
Error Message : unable to open validation file: /htdocs/be-at/cgi-bin/admin/data/validate.db. Reason: No such file or directory
Script Location : /htdocs/be-at/cgi-bin/admin/admin.cgi
Perl Version : 5.00502


But the file is there and permissions are set correctly.
I also searched this forum, but nothing was successful.
I double checked paths in links.cfg and permissions.
I treated the file like the other .db-file when I moved to new host.

Anyone with tipps ?

I am experiencing the same exact problem.
The validate.db is there at the right place.The path the admin cgi is looking for to read the v.....db is correct as well .and the record that need to be validated are there as well.

I found out after searching the board(thanks for the advice, Elliot) that my file "modified.db" was missing in the directory ...../admin/data. So I simply created a new empty on and guess what : IT WORKED Bingo. May you lost this file during the transfert please check. thanks and good luck
