Well, I've got my search engine working, or at least quasi-working in the sense that anything that doesn't work has been fixed and is sitting on my desktop.

My next question is in regards to changing the appearance of the different pages. Would I have to download a readymade template, online edit the existing templates, or what? Can I just make pages offline, with defined areas for where stuff goes? If so, how? Any help on this topic would be much appreciated.

Yes you could make your own templates and use them.

Yes you can download one of the ready made templates out of the Resource Center and use them as they are or mod them.

Or you can use no templates in which case you do all your modding in the site.html.pl.

Don't forget to tell links in the links.cfg file whether you are using templates or not.
