I was trying to fix the missing db.pl problem and in switching the path for the links.cfg file to the absolute path ( /home/public_html/cgi-bin/links/admin/links.cfg ) the script no longer downloads with the db.pl message but now it says it can't find the links.cfg file and I am positive that is the right path.

Must not be correct if it can't locate links.cfg

but it is that is the thing.. the path is as follows:

home/public_html/cgi-bin/links/admin/links.cfg

and I know that links.cfg is where it should be and it has the correct permissions

with
the / at the beginning?
