I've run links 2.0 for quite a while ... I have 285 links in my database, but now when new links are added they take the ID of a precedent links ... for exemple I have two 149 ...

why does the script that was supposed to give the id 289 returned to 148 ?

what should I do ?

Probably a corruption in your linksid.txt file. This file should contain the last number of your last record in the links.db file.
