Due to a server mess-up, the linksid.txt file was destroyed! Does links2.0 make a backup of this file? Also, if it doesn't, is there any easy way that I can recreate this file, because I had over 70 links!

linksid.txt just contains a number to track what your next index number will be.
Simply look through your files and figure out what the higest index number used is, then create a text file with nothing more than that number in it. Name it linksid.txt and upload it and set the permissions, and you should be fine.
