.shtml is printed index.shtml not

When I click on one of my categories, e.g. auto's, then I get an error!! This error says: "can't find http://www.blabla.com/pages/auto's/"!!
When I link to http://www.blabla.com/pages/auto's/index.shtml then the category works!!
I searched the forum, and tried everything what was posted before on the same subject, but still doesn't work!!
Please help......

Looks like your server doesn't like not being able to open index.htm or index.html. You either need to edit all the occurences where it refers to the folders, or add a .htaccess file into the root of your site so it processes the pages in order of something like;

index.htm, index.html, index.shtml, index.shtm, index.php, index.cgi

or something similar. I'm not amazing with .htaccess files, but I thiunk it is something like AllowOrder or something. You may want to do a bit of reading up on it, or get someone who knows their .htaccess stuff better than me tell you Tongue

How do you mean DirectoryIndex??
The problem is:
When I click on the category Auto, the link of the category Auto goes to http://www.blabla.com/pages/Auto/
But it must link to http://www.blabla.com/pages/Auto/index.shtml
I tried, in the nph-build script, to add the line /"$build_extension";(can't remember what exactly, but it was the correct line!!), it worked a bit!! When I now try to open the category Auto, the link goes to:
http://www.blabla.com/pages/Auto/.shtml
How to fix??
