updating hit counts

Hi, I'm using links 2.0 on my site but I've recently noticed that the hit counts for links, ratings etc., are not being automatically updated! The only time they appear to update is when I add another link.
Is there a way to fix this??

They are only supposed to update when you rebuild anyway.
