How can you get the sub-categories to show up as links on the home page. Is this a template issue? If so, what tags must be included in the template? Or, is it a modificaton?

do a search for "Subcategories Like Yahoo v2" in the Links Modification forum.. if you can't get that to work.. then do the one in the resource center.. it's version 1.0.. but who cares..

Thanks!! I got started and substituted the "new" code for the lines indicated in both site_html.pl and site_html_templates.pl I also changed the links.cfg as indicated.

I use templates, do I now need to revise them and add new tags? If so what would they be?

Any help is appreciated, as I'm a total novice.

is you did it right.. then you should be able to edit the description of the category and have it display the categories..

just go to a root category and edit it's description to (ALL)1 and see if it works first..

then you can start getting into the more complicated stuff and do like

(Sub1|Sub2|Sub4|Sub3)1
