You'd be paying up to $10/month less if you went directly with CommuniTech....and instead of a minimum 12 month contract, Communitech has a 3 month minimum. :-)
Personally, I like WebAxxs...

If you want to see a rating of various providers of Web hosting services, check out CNET's reviews at http://webhostlist.internetlist.com/...ns/toplists/top5.asp . My own server, I'm happy to note, is Web 2010, which CNET lists as the top one.
i have been with web 2010 once. although it wasn't long and i didn't get enough experience.. i'll look through the top few on that list and see if any has all the features i'd like..
btw.. nice site (web2010) changed alot since i was there.. prices are a bit high though.. anyone know how much a dedicated server is there.. they don't list the price.. (i could get their premier package for $12.00/mo with everything but unlimited transfer and miva and java chat..)

I know about Nortel.to. I think they're great. I've been at several hosting companies and Nortel.to is one of the best so far... They have a lot of features such as: java chat room, UBB, Webadverts, 25 subdomains,MySQL, Miva, PhP support and you can run scripts (including Links) outside your cgi-bin.I have one of my sites there and one site at www.prohosting.com. Prohosting does not have all of Nortel.to's features, but they're very reliable. I would recommend both these companies to host your Links engine. /Bruzze
Here is the link for the Web 2010 pricing structure. In looking at the price structure, keep in mind that if you order a one-year account, you get the 12th month free.
Go Web2010! I have an account with them. However, be aware, that if you have a large LINKS directory and use all its features, you will be confronted with large Perl core dumps periodically.

i never go with a 12 month contract.. usually 3 or 6 depending on the price.. the reason.. well.. i'm usually sick of my host by then and then move on to a better more expensive one.
