I had this company continuly submitting there url ever min for one hour!!

Can I band a url? I have already got the dob url install but would like to stop all urls at http://www.show-act.de

Yep...Go to the Resource Center, Click on LINKS, Click on Modifications, and then LINKS 2.0, then download and install the Block URL Mod that Bmxer wrote.

BTW: The Resource Center is the FIRST place to check for modification ideas and FAQs about LINKS.

But you could tell Bmxer that blockurls.txt should be blockurl.txt NO s

First, In your admin directory, make a blockurls.txt file. Make sure its readable.

Put this in it : @blockurl = ('yahoo.com', 'netscape.com','macromedia.com');

Change the urls to what you want, or add more in the format you see ,'url','etc . Make sure it ends with a ' though like macromedia.com does.

Why don't you tell him yourself, by emailing him? He is an active participant in these forums...Search for Bmxer in the User field in the search form, and then click on his profile to send him an email message.
