I setup Link 2.0 and everything is working fine but when I click on a link it is giving me 500 error - Internal Server Error.

Please someone help me on this!!

500 Internal Server Errors don't tell you much except that there is something wrong, and the server is standing up and shaking its fist at you. The problem might be wrong permissions, file uploaded in Binary, corrupt script...

It would be helpful if you can view your CGI error logs. The logs should tell you a lot more about the problem.

Check out this script that allows you to view error logs via your browser:

You can also try running jump.cgi via telnet.

Well, did you get the permissions right? Uploaded in ASCII? Did you change anything in jump.cgi?

No I didn't change anything and I gave 755 to all the cgi and pl files. Everything is working fine except this jump.cgi

I don't know what's going on...

Well, I modified my jump.cgi, so it won't do you any good. Try just downloading the Links 2.0 zip file again, unzip jump.cgi, and upload it.

If the jump.cgi in the original zip file doesn't work, I doubt using someone else's will. Try asking in the Links Installation Forum for help.
