I used a mod in the resources section. The one which allows us to change the "new" and "pop" text to images and also to add another extra updated images. I followed everything there and am sure there is nothing wrong with the script. I replaced my current links.db file (filled with categories) with an empty link.db file. And an error appears

To be precise about the problem, I cleared the db file, and the rest of the categories file in the data directory replacing it with blank ones. I add a few new categories and links, it was successful but when I click on the "build all" link, I was directed to a page saying

"The page cannot be displayed"

So where does the error lies?

Erm..links.db is filled with your links not categories!

What code did you add to change the new/pop to images?

It also appears that you have modded nph-build.cgi...that is likely to be the problem...make sure you follwed the mods instructions correctly.

Yah I would not cry for help any more next time!! HA HA HA.

Anyway, I did the changes that the mod http://goodstuff.orphanage.com/new_updated_mod.html stated in its documentation.

Here are the other 3 files I edited:

1) links.txt (links.def)
2) template.txt (site_html_templates.pl)
3) build.txt (nph-build.cgi)
