First, I still can not seem to get templates to work.
Second, I went into site_html.pl to try to mod, and my tables do not reflect correct color, and I get a "<" and ">" carrots before my defined variable entries.

I figured it out.
For everyone: I have extensions set to ".shtml" for banner purposes, and was reviewing via the link on the admin screen. It must send you to the "html" extension by default. I just typed in shtml instead.

By the way, If you are looking for an easy to install ad script for shtml, try cliffs banner ads at cgi-resources.com. It seems to work good.
