Would anyone be interested in a mod that would check for reciprical links, and then use the nph-email.cgi to send a message to all sites not linking back? This shouldn't be a tough mod considering the reciprical link checker is already finished. Anyone willing to take it on?

You could not automate the nph-email.cgi as it is now to send out email messages.

One suggestion I have is to look at the mailer.cgi file (Mass Mailer Script) located in the DBMAN Modification Section of the Resource Center. This file can be automated via Cron or Windows Scheduler program.

Basically what the script does is sends out an email message every certain number of days, verifies who to send based on two fields: email address and username. However, the username field can be replaced with the the recipricol field in LINKS.

Take a look at it. It is relatively easy to set-up. And since DBMAN and LINKS are structured similarly, it wouldn't be hard to use it with both scripts.
