Jump.cgi Edit help--
I am using the Links script right now as a database to index quake3 arena files. I've got one problem though when it comes to downloading some of the files off a FTP server that has a limit to the number of users at one time. So when the jump.cgi goes to the URL and the server is busy, it says that file is not there. Is there any way to make it go to another page or something in the jump.cgi when the server is full. BTW the site is www.quake3files.com

Thanks for your help,
Roger (0CooL)

This mod will use jump.cgi to redirect a deadlink to 404.html, so you can customize this mod by your own

Try this: http://www.websnail.org/...pts/404-report.shtml.

Is there a way to the 404 error page to know the file that was tried to download? so there could be a link on that page.

Thanks,

Make 404.html a template file for links so you can call any tags <%URL%> in the database.
