duh ...
Hey Gang,
Is there a way to use an "&" in a category name.

Example: Boys&Girls or actually I guess it would have to be Boys_&_Girls.

I would like to do this then use cleancategory to flush the "_" out of the display.

Thanks,
Jeff

There are instructions on how to do this here:

http://www.gossamer-threads.com/...um3/HTML/001722.html

(scroll about halfway down the page, to where Kathy writes "In case anyone else wants to use special characters in categories--and avoid all the same trial-and-error --this is what I had to change to use the characters , & ' and @:")

Best,
Kate Smile

Thanks Kate,
I knew I saw it around here somewhere, just had problems locating it.

my problem is using special char. in the links itself
like some url listed in my data are like
http://www.somesite.com/aaa'b
or like
http://www.somesite.com/aaa_bbb_ccc/
and when i build the pages i get an error for the first url and i can not add the second. i managed to get around it by adding
a file on my server and refresh to it's destination. but that's not a solution
is there a real solution
