Webring/the engine

Webring/the engine
I have a large Webring service, and have been working out ideas in my mind too combine the engine we are running along with the Webring. It might be nice to not utilize www.webring.org thus saving two databases!

Does anyone have a solution for (or maybe they would want to develop) a Webring based on the engine. Not flashy, mostly just the ability to do next/last. Going by the id numbers within the engine... am I making sense? So basically a Webring running from the search engine database and not the www.webring.org system. Also it will need to skip gaps etc.

They seem very similiar in technology, in the way they work. I wonder if it's posible to bridge the technologies together.

Love to hear any ideas!

Hi. Thanks for your reply. I have found the script, it can be found at:

Anyone have an idea of integration? I suppose it's not something like a begginer like myself could do!
