Hi Widgetz,

your script sounds to be interesting.

Do you have some creative ideas of how to use it?

this is for those lazy people that don't want to download the gif/zip file and then use the upload button to upload it.. (as seen on linkexchange)..

it can do cgi scripts if you wanted to.. but i didn't add cgi scripts to the list of files (defined by a hash) allowed..

that's just too dangerous Wink

widgetz,

ok, I got it! Thanx... Smile

I do also think that cgi-upload wouldn't be cool at all!

This would be nice for my UBB so people could up their own avatar. Will it be available? or is this just a test.

Is this still available somewhere? I've seen plenty of upload scripts, but I'm assuming this has been integrated into links? Or maybe not? Anyway, if anyone has this and would like to share that would be great! Thanks for the help.

Looks like Widgetz has done some late Winter cleaning of his site...If memory serves me correct...this was just an example of getting a file from a another server rather than "uploading" from a hard drive.

And it was not directly tied in with LINKS.

One suggestion is to look at the File Upload Mod for DBMAN, located at the following web page:

www.jpdeni.com/dbman/mods.html

Since LINKS and DBMAN are structured similarly in terms of the database and db_key, you should be able to integrate this Mod into LINKS.
