Is there a way to have search.cgi output a ranking of relativity?

What purpose?
Sites that do that are spider sites that archive the entire page contents, and that return the enty based off of meta tags, and how many times the keyword appears in the document etc. This is so "Oh, and I have a dog" is ranked lower relevance than "This is my dog page. All about dogs are here. Different kinds of dogs are...."
Links is a straight up match, either the keyword appears in the description and url, or it doesnt. since the whole content pages are not archived, relevancy isn't an issue.
my 2 cents

Mark that is a good point,
but people like to see relevancy even if it doesn't matter.
I am going to add a keyword field. It would be nice to have the output read something like this.
The keyword appears in one field 33%
two fields 66%
three fields 99%
This I wouldn't say is a necessity, but it would be nice to have.
