Does links not search for and display sub categories? Here is an example to illustrate what I am refering to.

I have a sub category named Ethernet 2 D under the main category, Cabletron. When I search for ethernet I only get a result of links(products) with the term ethernet in them, and not a listing of the category Cabletron/Ethernert in the category results. You can take a look here and try it out

Anyone understand what I am trying to get to? Did i miss something?

As mentioned before...Categories in the Category field in the links.db, which does include subcategories are searched through the search.cgi script. BUT it does not search the categories.db file if that is what you are asking.

For people reading this post, The sub category I was searching did not contain any links , therefore it did not return the category search results. Once I threw a test link in, the category search listing showed up.
