a strange problem seems to be affecting my links. In installing my listings i made a few fake categories which i later deleted. When i ftp'd to the site i noticed that they were not being deleted. The only mod i have used is the mod listed here


the only real problem here is that if i cannot figure it out, it will be a little tedious, but could someone please tell me where and what i should be looking for to track down this program?

my perl is at a novice level so i would appreciate a good teacher

Links does not delete category directories nor does it delete files. It can only overwrite from the code base I've looked at.

You'll have to do it manually, but I seem to remember a mod or two that deleted all the directories in your links path and then re-built everything from scratch again. You might try searching the forums.
