I have added several fields to my links.def file and they show up on the Add in the admin panel. I can add links just fine from there. I created a template add.html page to input all of the new fields. I have checked and double checked and the add.html fields do match up to the links.def fields. Whe I try to add from the add.cgi form, I get an "Unkown Tag: ContactName" page. There is no ContactName anywhere on add.cgi, add.html, or links.def. Where else might this be coming from?

I have that field named Contact_Name in all three of the above mentioned files. The links are at http://216.74.120.43/breeders_directory/index.html .

It also appears that the URL is not being added into the url.db file. The field on add.html matches the links.def (URL). When I open the url.db after building, the new urls don't show.

I've spent a lot of time looking through this forum, but haven't seen anything similar. Thanks for your help.

The main links page works, but when you fill out the Add.cgi form and submit, I still get the unknown message.

From the error message it sounds like you haven't used the correct tag in Name.ie.

Contact Name

not

ContactName

Well, I double checked the names in all of the files I mentioned above to make sure they matched. That's why I was wondering if there is another file where 'Contact Name' is mentioned. I think that is the last hurdle I need to jump to get the links up and running.

Problem Solved. The incorrect field name was in the email reply templates.
