This MOD links-sql for Links 2.0 like links-sql MOD for Links 1.1 only have 3 files :

sql.cfg
search.cgi
nph_build.cgi

and for Full MOD you can see BaliDirectory - SQL MOD Demo

What is this, and how is it different from LinkSQL?

Is it just an interface between Links 2.0 and MySQL?

Whats the mod? is it power search as you say, or links 2.0 in sql?

it's a links 2.0 mod with SQL...

webadverts, search category, password protect modify.. etc

uhh.. actually it's just the 3 files that you can get from gossamer-threads with his name in them..

I dunno what the difference is, but if any one of you guys want to try the admin part of the "SQL" links, I had a little luck with finding it. . .

A question?

How is it added the data in the table SQL? and are there only modules to do the search and to create the categories in the directories?

After seeing thesse type files before I did some investingating. I may be wrong, but looks like he moded the links-sql mod V.1.1 from the resource center which was for Links 1. I am taking a look at it now to see what help it may be. Will let you know if I find anything.
Let me know if anyone else does.

when i first say the 3 files.. i was like..
UH.. "this does nothing!!"

hehe.. cause there is no way to write to a sql table..

if you guys want a links sql mod for links2.. you might as well buy alex's.. seriously.. i do not think we should try to develop our own and make it free.. then alex will get really mad.......

but.. for starters.. the only part you need to mod for SQL is search, nph-build.cgi, db_utils.pl, db.pl, jump.cgi, rate.cgi..

The Links-SQL mod for V 1.1 not same with V 2.0
in my MOD links-sql for Links 2.0 includ SEARCHCAT.
For only SQL-Powersearch (links-sql mod) for free but not for Full BaliDirectory - SQL(all Database On MySQL)

ok.......

let me get this straight.. it's not for links 2.0.. heh
