I have a dilemma with the ratings on my page. I downloaded the yahoo mod and it looks fine, but the ratings won't work with it. The readme instructed me to make a couple of changes to tags. When I change the tags, the rating works partially. If I change them to the way they were originally, the rate won't work at all.

In light of all this, I've decided that I don't really want the ratings anyway. How can I remove the entire rating system and links to it on the pages?

Simply remove links to the rate.cgi script in the link.html file and then remove the rate.cgi script from your server.

It is NOT wise to delete the Ratings field in the links.def and links.db, since you would also have to hack the nph-build.cgi script.

What's cool goes along with the ratings. I suppose I should remove that too. How do I go about that?

Like I mentioned, search the friggin forums for info about deleting the rating sub-system altogether!@

And next time, choose All posts for the DATE RANGE and also 250 for the HITS in the FORUM SEARCH FORM!
