Does anybody know of a modification that will allow you to personalize the links plus system or get weather for your area like on Snap.com??

I set up hamweather 2.0 at one point and it consumed about 2.5 megs of server space. It can be difficult to install if you don't have total control of your web server. i.e. crons, telnet, etc.

HAMweather 2.0 should work for you.

You only need the telnat/cron access to use the daily emailing of forecasts.. everythign else can be installed using ftp..

There is a company on the net that actually gives you the program to run their news on your website and if I recall it was free as well.

But bugger me, if I can find the old email of the offer and contact info. It was at the national level and I didn't have a use for it at the time. But, of course I do now and I can't find it.

If I find it I will post it here, meanwhile if anyone else knows of this company. I would appericate their contact info.

Oh'yeah!! If anyone knows how to tie into something like MapQuest (for driving instructions) from Links I would greatly apppericate any info.
