i upgraded to link2.0 but when i check cat to see if any links is not listed under any cat. i get an error telling me that
some links in your links database that are associated with a category that does not exist!
but all the categories listed there do exist
because when i type the url of the listed categories i find it with all it's links.
could this be a bug or a misconfiguration on my part.
also with links1.1 when i check duplicate links i find afew of them but with links2.0 i get nothing with the same data.
for example if the url of one site is
http://members.xoom.com/site1
and a second is
http://members.xoom.com/site2
when i check duplicate using links1.1 i find the above example as a duplicate but using links2 you get nothing. thanks

when i build pages the script is building every category but when i search for the category some are missing. i found the source of the problem:
i was trying to make short cuts. i used upgrade.pl to remove null words from links.db and category.db
i just modify upgrade.pl to remove the null words from categories.db as well
and i made a minor mistake the first time but i just fixed it and everthing is fine.
if anyone is upgrading to links2 and has lots
of category and does not want to do it manually contact me and i'll tell you the modifications

The problem you are having with the dupes is not really a problem, it is a feature of Links v2. Links v1 would display dupes whenever the domain was the same. Links v2 checks the whole URL and will only display dupes when it matches another URL.
