Incredible!!!

I would love to know how you made it?

Is it possible to have your script?

Thanks

I love to have/buy those scripts as they are ready.

I've been doing an ASP version of links. You can see it at - www.asp-dev.ml.org/links

It's not finished yet, but you can see the main functionality is there. It also has a few added features.

If you want the source email me and I'll get it of to you.

I will be finishing it off soon, most of it is finished, mainly the admin side needs completing, plus a few tweaks here and there.

I'll hope to get a reasonable release ready to go in the next week or so.

I'm currently working on an ASP version of UBBS, which I'm fairly pleased on how it's going - www.asp-dev.ml.org/forum

Also a few other scripts I've done -

An Events Diary - Allows you to add events to a calendar, supports dates from 1000 - 9999 www.asp-dev.ml.org/calendar/

An Internal Email System - Written for a company who wanted employees to email each other without having to shell out loads of money for A mail server or someone to administer it - www.asp-dev.ml.org/message

Sorry to go on like that, but I'm kinda proud of them.

If anyone want's a script converting or created in ASP let me know!

Does anyone know the status of this Links to .asp project? I e-mailed the site and have not received a response. Also, from what I saw at the site it appears that it is not finished.

Thanks,

Michael

I too would be interested in seeing this version. Spent a bit of time on the site mentioned and also have sent emails to see if someone from the different sites will respond.

I'm the webmaster of www.asp-dev.ml.org

I am still planning on doing an ASP version of links, but due to workload I haven't had much time to put in to it.

If people are still interested in having this I will see if I can devote more time to it.

Count me in as well! It looks very promising from my visit. Also, I'd love to see the metasearch links integrated in. Any thoughts of doing so?

if you are running on an NT server, ASP scripts run a lot faster than perl written programs. This is a fact!

If you are like me and want to avoid VBScript at any cost, then you can great performance and still program in perl with Activestate's Perl EX. More info at:

Ok,

Thanks a lot! whoever u are... Sorry I forget who reffered me to perl.com...

Anyways, I had problems with emailing using SMTP using Perl 5.00307
Now with 5.005 do you think It will work?
It worked on a UNIX server, so the only problem I can think of is that Perl is not new enough to support SMTP mailing within links 2.0.

You can also download Perl 5.004 and above at the Active State site:

http://www.activestate.com/

Perl 5.004 does allow SMTP (actually, I thought 5.003 allowed it,too)...odd.
