I installed the German character mod and it looked like it worked fine.

But now the Categories seem messed up. Some have the 'Title' as an IF now, some have the ID in the 'non english' field now. etc.

Modifying and deleting those categories seems sometimes impossible.

Is theer a way of fixing this?

Is there a way of reverting to the old database-structure?

I am wondering why you didn't install the German Links version available at http://www.nicky.net. There's an entire German-speaking Links community with mods, templates and FAQs...

I repaired the damage bnut am not sure whether everything will work...



I will try to go there and ask whether and how I can update to German without damaging what I have entered up2now.

I think it's best to install the German version and to port over your old links.db and categories.db.

Btw, the German links version is linked in the Resource Center.
