I've finished with the mod, as well as the install.
I recommend the installer, but there is also an option to get the manual zips. Sorry to create another thread but i figured the other got big and it's for a different version. I've tested the install alot and everything should run smoothly but it does create a back up of the original site_html_templates.pl and links.cfg before it modifies them. You can just go to my mod site, http://lh.links247.net/downloads and decide which type of install or version you want. I will be rewriting gofetch.cgi for the next version. All new using my code. Also, if you do an automated install, a readme.txt and a changes.log will be placed in the gofetchdocs folder under your cgi path folder. If you have any trouble understanding what your path is, you can email me. gofetch@links247.net. Just remember that the cgi path is the root directory or the directory you first go to when you login via ftp. then from there, the rest of the way to the admin folder.
