I have a question: do You know if it is possible to have a list of the new sites/links added without having to click on the link automatically created by the script with the referenced date ?

For example:
On this page I have a list of the new links added http://www.pinkcenterfold.com//New/
I'd like to visit that page and see the list of the new links without having to click on Tuesday, June 15 2004

P.S. why does the script puts a double / building my directory ?

The hard way would be to modify the sub build_new_page in nph-build.cgi.

An easier way is to use this mod to list as many new links as you want, then just make the What's New link point to a page you created with the mod on it. Look for Last Link:

http://www.gotzespace.dk/books/

Your other question is likely this, from links.cfg:

# PATH and URL of Pages to be built. No Trailing Slash.
$build_root_path = "/alex/links/pages";
$build_root_url = "http://localhost/links/pages";
