I have a database of about 20 categories, all populated with subcategories and links. I would like to move all the categories and links inside a newly created category. What I would end up with is either a database that includes one category that includes all the original categories and links, or a database with 20 empty main categories and 1 category populated with the original categories and links.

How would I go about moving all the links and categories to a single category, without doing it one by one? If I need to, I wouldn't mind adding the 20 new categories again to the top level.

1. Backup your links.db
2. Delete the categories you want to get rid of.
3. Create the new categories.
4. Click "check cats" - there you will be able to move links category by category.
