Will the SQL version that has been proposed be compatible (with modifications I assume) with MS-SQL?

I ask because I am running MS-SQL here for other needs on my site, and it would be great if I could use it for LINKS too

I've seen this message before on Gossamer Threads, stating that "somebody" had the mod for mysql in beta.
Despite multiple crys for gimme gimme gimme, it never came through. Don't know if it's cuz it's in beta testing or the need to keep it to themselves. As you can see multiple people have requested it, but to no avail.
So my conclusion is don't hold your breath, and if I read correctly somewhere in another thread, Alex is working on a mysql version for the future. So wait patiently in the wings for Alex's version as I'm sure that will be quality work.
