The links on my category pages aren't turning up in alphabetical order- at least I found two that are out of order. I have the sort by title defined in links.def. I have installed a couple mods, and also modified a couple things myself, but nothing that I can figure out which would mess this up. The two that I have found out of order are the second two on this page http://www.lib.lsu.edu/govdocs/agencies/Boards_Commissions_and_Committees/ all the others seem to be in order.

And here is a related problem- I installed the tree mod, which works great except that I would like the links appearing on the same heirarchical level to sort alphabetically- if possible.

Links are sorted by more than just the field selected in the search by variable. This includes if the link is "new", "cool", "popular", etc. To sort solely by the title field, you need to edit sub build_sorthit() in db_utils.pl.
