Links2.0 add on?
Is there a link2.0 add on which we will allow users who visit my recipe site to submit recipes to the site then the recipe will automaticly show up on the page?

Go here: http://www.gossamer-threads.com/...es/Detailed/213.html

I simply typed in recip in the Resource Center's search box and also browsed through the Links Modification and low and behold, there it was!

BTW: It would be best to add replies to your ORIGINAL Threads than clutter up the forums with duplicate/redundant Threads. Wink

Sorry i noticed i had put the post in the wrong forum so i moved it to here. Also that script has nothing to do with users posting recipes on my site?

Here is a modification to add a reciprical link checker to your site. It will check for the presence of your link on sites you exchange liks with in gossamer. It can be run from cron to generate a report of those not linking back to you as well as interactively.

in links.def append the line
recip => [14, 'alpha', 40, 75, 0, 'http://', '^http|news|mailto|ftp']
to the end of your database definition.

Recip URL: $in{'recip'}

I guess iraqi is referring to recipes, not reciprocal links... Wink

All you have to do is add additional fields for the type of information you want to collect and print out for users to view...

Search adding fields and you will find a bunch of Threads that talks about customizing the links.db database file.

I am currently working on a mmodifying links to work as a recipe script. Only problem is, that I added two new fields for Ingredients1 and Ingredients2 to the database, and all works ok, but on the details page, it will not print out those fields.
