Layout of home page with subcategory
Hi All:

I have used the modification to make my home page look like Yahoo page with vertical listing of the subcategories. You can see the modification at http://gossamer-threads.com/scripts/resources/Attach/1072-MyMod.txt

What I want is something similarly depicted below:

Main Category 1

Main Category 2
Subcategory1
Subcategory2

Main Cateogory 3

It is working fine except that I want to add a break between the main categories ( if no subcategories) or otherwise after the last of the subcategory ( if there are subcategories in a main class). I have changed my site_html_template.pl but that is giving me a break after each category and subcategory. I do not know how to fix this problem, and will appreciate your help if you can advise me as to how to proceed.

I have given below my print section in site_html_template.pl for your review and also trouble shooting:

# We now use a table to split the category name up into two columns.
# For each category you can use the following variables:
#
# $url : The URL to go to that category
# $category_name : The category name with _ and / removed.
# $category_descriptions{$subcat}: The category description (if any).
# $numlinks : The number of links inside that category (and subcategories).
# $mod : The newest link inside of that category.
