Is new graphic
I would like to use an icon instead of the text "new" I do not want to use the 3 level mod. Any suggestions how I can do that?

Yea...edit the HTML codes in the link.html template file as mentioned quite a few times in this forum...look for new in that file.

You would need to edit the html in site_html_print_cat in site_html_templates.pl for that.

Look for:

$output .= qq|<small><font color="ff0000"><sup class="new">new</sup></small></font>| if (&days_old($mod) < $db_new_cutoff);
