Hi

I'm new to Links. In the readme.txt I read something about writing a text to the site_html.pl if I want it to be on all pages. But how to use site_html.pl to create new templates?

Do you want to use templates or do you want to use headers and footers. If you want to use templates then the line in your links.cfg should read $build_use_templates = 1; I think the default is set to 1 anyway. If you want to use headers and footers set it to 0.

If you want to use templates, do what Paul suggested and, instead of using site_html.pl, you would use site_html_templates.pl (you cannot use both). As to creating templates, you do that yourself. There is no automated way to do that although you can edit the ones in the template directory using the admin interface. Be sure to put any templates you create in your template directory or Links will not find them.
