I firstly would like to thank you for the info.cgi mod, a great script that saves a lot of disk space - thank you.

I use links as a detailed page viewer only and do not link to url's as do a few other users by the messages in these forums, using info.cgi as opposed to jump.cgi means that you do not have a hits capability.

I modified info.cgi slightly copying code from jump.cgi in order to maintain this facility, these may be found at

I am not a perl programmer but this appears to work for me, if it is possible could you check the code, you may wish to offer this as an add on to info.cgi for other users

Good job! I've rewritten info.cgi a bit and would be glad to post a version with this added code on my mods site.

The only thing that **should** be changed is that the actual hits code needs to be within the if block that shows the details page. Otherwise, the script will count hits to non-existant or invalid links.
